Catherine Wang

President

Catherine (she/her/elle) is a fourth year, U3 honours student in International Development Studies with a minor in East Asian Cultural Studies. She has been an executive of IDSSA for three years, beginning as the VP Internal in her U1 year and is incredibly excited to bring equity, representation, and connectivity to INTD students as this year's President. Her research interests include displacement, migration, and human trafficking.

Sarah Feng

VP Internal

Sarah (she/her/elle) is a second-year student majoring in International Development Studies with a double minor in Philosophy and French. She is passionate about migrant rights and education. She is also involved in the McGill Students for the Open Door Montréal and enjoys rock climbing, coaching water polo, and playing the piano! Mahnoor Zaman

VP Finance

Mahnoor is a second year, U2 student majoring in International Development with a minor in Political Science. She is currently the VP Finance for IDSSA, but also a peer tutor, and editor for Catalyst. She is also an intern at the Consulate General of Pakistan in Montreal. Jôsi Pretto Simmons

VP Academics

Jôsi is a third year, U2 student double majoring in International Development Studies and Political Science. Jôsi is also the Mentorship and Education Lead on the Black Varsity Association, as well as a member of the McGill Figure Skating competitive team. Lavinia Auhoma

VP External

Lavinia Auhoma (she/her/elle) is a fourth year (U3) student at McGill University pursuing an Honours BA in International Development Studies with a minor in Philosophy. Beyond her academic life, Lavinia works at Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada in Ottawa as a Junior Policy Analyst. She is also a Youth Ambassador at Plan International Canada and have presented a speech at TEDxYouth@Toronto’s in summer 2019 about youth activism. As VP External this year, she will be your main source of all things partnerships, collaboration, and will also be running the first in-person International Development Policy Case Competition (IDPCC) since 2020! Nandini Mukherjee

VP Communications

Nandini Mukherjee (she/her/elle) is a fourth year pursuing a BA in International Development with a double minor in Environment and Geography (Urban Studies). As VP Communications for the 2023-2024 school year, she will be your go-to source for anything communications related such as maintaining the listservs and Instagram and Facebook pages. Kimberly Nicholson

Kimberly (she/her/elle) is a fourth year, U3 student in international development and anthropology, with two minors in indigenous studies and german language. In her free time, Kimberly likes to read and hang out with friends. Her research interests include global health, climate change, gender and sexuality, and geopolitics.
