I’m currently in my fourth and final year, finishing an Honours degree in International Development and Political Science. This is my second year with the IDSSA, and I had such an amazing time planning events, running workshops and building an IDS community last year that I decided to continue to do so this year! Hey everyone, I’m Azra and I’m super excited to be your VP Internal this year! I’m currently in my third year majoring in International Development and minoring in Education. Throughout the year, I’ll mainly be busy organising events and designing and selling the IDS hoodies. My main goal as part of the IDSSA is to implement events which not only discuss issues but involve action so that students gain a tangible understanding of the field of development. Hi everyone! I am Charline and I am thrilled to be your VP Publications for this year. I am majoring in IDS and minoring in Political Science and Sociology. This is my second year on the IDSSA. As your VP Publications, I will be launching a new online platform for news articles pertinent to international development to provide more opportunities for IDS students to get involved. I will additionally act as the Editor-in-chief of the Chrysalis, our undergraduate journal, and I hope to provide a more inclusive range of topics and representation of world regions.
